HTC debuts the HTC One M9 in the Utopia in Progress event in Barcelona<\/a>. Not only that, HTC also introduces the HTC Grip, a wearable sports band tracker that is powered by Under Armour Record. And surprisingly, they showcased a futuristic headset, HTC RE Vive powered by SteamVR.<\/p>\n

HTC One M9<\/span><\/h1>\n

Not surprisingly, HTC did not change their winning formula of their premium flagship model. From M7 to M9, HTC did not change much on the shape of the HTC One series of mobile phones.<\/p>\n

It is not a bad move since HTC One series had been given good reviews, usually. With HTC One M9, HTC has improved the processor to a Snapdragon 810 and the camera to 20 MPX but ditching away the second camera. I did not see an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) which is a little disappointing. The front camera is now the 4 MPX Ultrapixel camera.<\/p>\n

HTC seems to pride themselves on the use of material on the HTC One M9. Unfortunately, I think most consumers will not detect or appreciate that. Nevertheless, it is good that HTC did not stop exploring every inch of the phone.<\/p>\n

As for the screen, HTC has make it more “borderless” but HTC is still having those artificial black borders around it. The BoomSound is now with Dolby Audio 3. The device will come with 32GB on board and a 3 GB RAM (finally), and thankfully, HTC did not ditch away the external MicroSD card slot.<\/p>\n

With its bigger battery capacity (2,840mAh), more innovative DotView cover, we shall see how HTC can survive (or excel) in the challenging mobile world.<\/p>\n
