Update: The truth is out. BBC went to the shop to have a look at the dress. It is BLACK and BLUE!!!<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

A not so clear picture of a dress has caused the world to be so divided that I am literally hearing people calling others crazy, stupid, colorblind. This is unprecedented (for me). And the whole argument is about the color of this dress in the picture. Is this a Gold\/White dress or is this Black\/Blue dress? Yes, that is the question..<\/p>\n

The whole story started with a\u00a0Tumblr post asking the opinion of the color of this dress (above). The owner of this picture is in a dilemma. Her exact words.<\/p>\n

guys please help me – is this dress white and gold, or blue and black? Me and my friends can\u2019t agree and we are freaking the fuck out<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I guess by the time you saw this post, you might have lost some friends or argued many times over\u00a0it. I am posting it to keep as a record so that in a few years\/months time, I will look at the dress again and decide if it has “changed” color.\u00a0.<\/p>\n

This is a GOLD and WHITE dress!!<\/span><\/h1>\n

Some argued that it has something to do with the screen\/devices\u00a0where you see this picture. It could be because the white balance is off, brightness is different and etc.<\/p>\n

BUT HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE SAME PICTURE SEEN ON A SINGLE DEVICE BY OTHERS APPEARS TO BE IN DIFFERENT COLORS?!<\/p>\n

You see, if it is slight color temperature or white balance\u00a0differences, it should not have such diverse color variation (gold becomes black, white becomes blue).<\/p>\n

Some sworn that it is Black and Blue no matter how I tweaked the picture with Temp, Tint and etc. I believe the experts are also clueless. Check out this article<\/p>\n
