Media Release<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n SingTel will offer the much-anticipated iPad Air 2 with Wi-Fi + Cellular and iPad mini 3 with Wi-Fi + Cellular from today, 24\u00a0October\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>2014.<\/p>\n The new iPads will be offered with a range of attractive new 4G Mobile Broadband data plans\u00a0that feature SingTel\u2019s premium WiFi service. This means that in addition to their 4G data bundles, customers will enjoy unlimited high-speed WiFi usage until\u00a031 July 2015<\/span>. Subsequently, all 4G Mobile Broadband plans will come with 2GB of WiFi data allowance.<\/p>\n Unlike free public WiFi networks, SingTel\u2019s WiFi network is fully managed to ensure high quality performance. It can provide connectivity that is five times faster than typical free public WiFi services.\u00a0(Average typical speeds of SingTel WiFi range from 4 to 10Mbps)<\/em>\u00a0By March 2015, approximately 1,000 hotspots at more than 100 locations across the island will have been deployed. These numbers are expected to double by March 2016.<\/p>\n SingTel is also the first telco in Singapore to offer the new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 with a monthly\u00a0tablet\u00a0top-up payment plan. All available plans will include a top-up payment of $15\u00a0per month\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>in addition to the monthly subscription rate.
