Yesterday was a big day for Canon. They launched a handful of products including lenses. The event coincides with the Global announcement of the products at Photokina<\/a>, particularly the Canon EOS 7D Mark II.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Canon for the invite, I was able to witness first hand the unveiling of these cameras and lenses. The event was held at\u00a0Boathouse Restaurant<\/b>, 3 Fullerton Rd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is the decor inside the Boathouse restaurant.\u00a0 It was decorate to a racing theme (maybe to coincide with the F1 this weekend).<\/p>\n

According to my understanding, about 60 people (or publications?) were invited. Here are some photos before the event.<\/p>\n

I was particularly interested in the Canon backpack. I believe it is the first time Canon is making their own brand of camera bags<\/a>. Here are some shots of it.\"P1280024m\"<\/p>\n
