Gear Up for Superhero Action with EZ-Link on 28 July<\/i><\/h2>\n

Holders of ez-link cards expiring in 2014 can get \u2018Special Justice League\u2019 ez-link cards at TransitLink Ticket Offices and <\/i>\u2018Journey with EZ-Link\u2019 roadshows at just $3 <\/i><\/p>\n

SINGAPORE, 25 July 2014<\/b> \u2013 EZ-Link Pte Ltd, Singapore’s largest issuer of CEPAS-compliant cards, will usher in nine hugely popular superheroes and one notorious villain into town, in the form of limited edition \u2018Special Justice League\u2019 ez-link cards. This card series is available exclusively for ez-link cardholders whose cards are expiring in 2014, and is part of EZ-Link\u2019s \u2018Journey with EZ-Link\u2019 Giveaway Campaign.<\/p>\n

Comprising 10 adorable, vivid and exquisite designs, the \u2018Special Justice League\u2019 thematic card series will be rolled out progressively at all TransitLink Ticket Office located island-wide till 5 October 2014, and two of the designs will also be available for exchange at the \u2018Journey with EZ-Link\u2019 roadshows from 28 July to 3 August, at Ang Mo Kio, Boon Lay, Hougang, Jurong East and Tampines bus interchanges as well as Dhoby Ghaut MRT, from 11am \u2013 9pm. The series has been developed under license with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment. Refer to table 1 for details of location and period.<\/i><\/p>\n

EZ-Link will provide details and updates on stock availability of the various designs on its social media platforms including Facebook (www.facebook.com\/myezlink<\/a>), Instagram (www.instagram.com\/ezlinksg<\/a>) and Twitter (www.twitter.com\/ezlinksg<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Eligible cardholders will have the $3 deducted from the remaining monies in their expiring ez-link cards, after which balance monies will be transferred to the new card, which does not carry any stored value.<\/p>\n

Besides the Special Justice League ez-link cards, holders of cards expiring in 2014 can also get the \u2018Colour Your Journey\u2019 ez-link cards for free at any TransitLink Ticket Office and at the roadshows from 28 July to 3 August 2014.<\/p>\n

Cardholders can easily check if their cards expire in 2014 by going to www.ezlink.com.sg<\/a>, General Ticketing Machines, Add Value Machines, SAM Machines, OCBC ATMs, AXS Stations, EZ-Link Top-up Machines, TransitLink Ticket Offices, Passenger Service Counters, and the My EZ-Link Mobile App.<\/p>\n

EZ-Reload (Auto Top-Up) customers with cards expiring in 2014 are advised not to exchange for the \u2018Special Justice League\u2019 ez-link cards as EZ-Link will be sending free cards to their mailing addresses directly before the expiry dates. PAssion ez-link cards and bank co-brand credit or debit cards customers are also advised not to exchange for these cards but follow instructions from the respective banks and issuing organisations.<\/p>\n

EZ-Link Pte Ltd was formed on 8 January 2002. Its core business is the clearing and settlement of all EZ-Link card transactions generated in transit and non-transit (retail\/merchant) environments, as well as the sale, distribution and overall management of EZ-Link cards. To date, more than 17 million new CEPAS-compliant EZ-Link cards have been issued. This is in tandem with the government\u2019s plan to promote cashless payments in Singapore.
