You can add in the hardware that you need. Not sure how long it will be before the first module can be purchased.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>Hardware Expansion (Patent Pending).\u00a0 <\/b>Every person has different requirements for a smart watch.\u00a0 Adding all the hardware for all these features can make a smart watch bulky and power hungry.\u00a0 And when new hardware arrives on the market your old smart watch becomes obsolete.\u00a0 To solve this problem we created Moment Snapware &#8211; easily installed hardware modules to give you the additional features you want from a smart watch.\u00a0 An open hardware and software development platform will allow Momentum Labs and other developers to provide the modules you want:\u00a0 biometric measurements, GPS, extended audio, inductive charging &#8211; nearly unlimited options for the creative developer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And it has a dedicated Smartphone app as companion to the smart watch. I think one of the major challenges is to get it to function as featured on Kickstarter (My experiences on Kickstarter is that there are always hiccups along the way). Thankfully, they mentioned they have a working prototype.<\/p>\n<p>Next challenge is to get positive feedback from the backers if they want to commercialize it.
