Today, AXA launches a new product “SmartDrive” that might change the way car insurance is purchased. It is very customizable and I guess it might fit the needs of some motorists. I believe if you drive, there might be time when you wish you can change the content of your car insurance. If that is the case, you may want to take a closer look at “SmartDrive”.<\/p>\n

BTW, for me, I always buy my car insurance at the very last minute and I try to go for the cheapest with NCD protection. Of course, wind screen protection is a plus and low access \ud83d\ude42 .<\/p>\n

AXA Redefines Car Insurance in Singapore with customisable \u201cSmartDrive<\/i>\u201d<\/h2>\n

Singapore, 24 June 2014 \u2013<\/b>\u00a0AXA Insurance . Singapore today redefined car insurance in Singapore with the launch of the new customisable product offering under car insurance \u201cSmartDrive\u201d, which will allow customers to pick and choose coverage to meet their needs. Singapore was selected as the first Asian AXA entity to launch this new product.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrevious research conducted by AXA showed clearly that customers from various segments were looking for very different benefits. We recognised that everyone is different, and we all have our own unique and different needs. So why not provide the highest flexibility and customisation to SmartDrive, and allow everyone to have the freedom to pick and choose and pay for only the benefits they need! As one of the leading motor insurers in Singapore, we are proud to revolutionise the way we offer customers protection for their vehicles. We believe this will change the way car insurance is sold and bought today.\u201d said Mrs Doina Palici-Chehab, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Insurance Singapore.<\/p>\n

The new \u201cSmartDrive\u201d product offering is now specially designed to cater to various age groups and lifestyles of car users. On top of choosing from plans such as \u201cEssential\u201d and \u201cEssential Plus\u201d, plans are also customisable for female drivers, families, and drivers who prefer flexibility of benefits.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, customers can select from a set of bundled add-on benefits (\u2018Pack\u2019) or ala-carte add-ons according to their individual needs and price points. Add-on benefits range from Courtesy Cars to Personal Accident Benefits for Drivers, Breakdown Assistance, and even an add-on to cover their car accessories. Please see Annex A for the full breakdown of plans, packs and add-ons for \u201cSmartDrive\u201d.<\/p>\n
