HP, together with Flexible Display Center (FDC) at the Arizona State University (ASU), has joint developed a flexible and bendable, yet unbreakable electronics display that consumes much less power than other display.This display is made entirely from plastic and the technology can be applied on signage or electronics paper.<\/p>\n

The unbreakable displays were created by the FDC and HP using self-aligned imprint lithography (SAIL) technology invented in HP Labs, HP\u2019s central research arm. SAIL is considered \u201cself aligned\u201d because the patterning information is imprinted on the substrate in such a way that perfect alignment is maintained regardless of process-induced distortion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
