SingTel today announces that they will be offering direct billing for Windows Phone Store purchases to their monthly postpaid mobile bill. This is good news to customers who want a hassle-free payment on WP.<\/p>\n

At the same time, I received information from StarHub that they are also offering direct billing to Windows Phone Store and Google Play too. However, it it will happen in Q2 of this year.<\/p>\n

SingTel first in Singapore to offer direct carrier billing for Windows Phone Store purchases<\/h2>\n

Singapore 6 March 2014 <\/b>\u2013 SingTel Windows Phone users can now enjoy the one-stop convenience of charging their Windows Phone Store purchases directly to their monthly postpaid mobile bill.<\/p>\n

SingTel is the first mobile operator in Singapore to offer this payment option, which allows customers to make secure purchases of Windows Phone apps and in-app content without the need for a credit card. All transactions are consolidated into a single bill for simplicity and easy management.<\/p>\n

Ms Gan Siok Hoon, SingTel\u2019s Vice President of mCommerce, said: \u201cSingTel is excited to offer Windows Phone customers a fuss-free and secure way to make purchases from the wide selection of apps and games available in the Windows Phone Store. Direct carrier billing is ideal for customers who are looking for an alternative to credit card payments.
