A British doctor who volunteered in Congo for a month every year will remember this incident for the rest of his life. He performed an amputation on the arm of a Congo boy who apparently was bitten by a Hippotamus through SMS (Text messaging) help from a colleague in London. More information after the break.<\/p>\n

From CNN, it seems that the boy whose arms was bitten off by a Hippopotamus becomes gangrenous. David Nott, the British doctor immediately knew that he had to do something or the boy will die within a few days.<\/p>\n

As he is not familiar with the procedure (as it involves removing the collar bone and shoulder blade), he SMS his colleague Meirion for help. Immediately Meirion replied with a 10-steps procedure for it and signed off with “Easy! Good Luck!”.<\/p>\n

David Nott followed every single step and successfully finished the surgery. The boy made a full recovery. That is a piece of good news before Christmas \ud83d\ude42 .<\/p>\n
