Apple launches the Apple iPod Nano 5G (5th Generation) during the “Its only Rock and Roll Event”. Of course there are many other things that were introduced. Click here for the incredible coverage from Engadget<\/a>. You guys are awesome! Back to iPod Nano 5G. What is interesting is that Apple has added a tiny little camera at the back. In lightning speed, ifixit had managed to get hold of one of them and stripped it to its bare minimum.<\/p>\n

It seems that Apple has made this little iPod Nano 5G difficult for self repair. It has adhesive all over it and the camera is fixed in such a way that hinder the whole “body” from being able to slide out of the chassis.<\/p>\n

The camera is supposed to be able to capture in VGA quality (640 X 480) H.264 with up to 30fps and AAC audio.<\/p>\n

Overall, according to Engadet, the technical specs seems to be the same as 4G except for the addition of the camera.<\/p>\n

I am a little skeptical over the tiny camera. I believe people who tried the iPod Nano 5G will not be able to tell if the video is good or not as the screen size is very small (2.2 inch). However,\u00a0 the good things about this Nano 5G is that it has a 16GB model, it is using normal 3.5mm jack earphone and it claims to be able to play audio for 24hrs (5hrs for video). BTW, it comes in 9 colors for you to choose.<\/p>\n
