Looking through the pictures I had taken during my trip in Europe (I am writing this in my hotel room in Zermatt, halfway through my tour), these few pictures are one that I believe Singapore should be seriously looking into it if they want to go green (in terms of transportation).<\/p>\n

As you can see , these vehicles are parking by the side of the road and there are charging ports for charging them. I believe they might be rental cars as they are of the same make and model.<\/p>\n

Many of us of living in apartments. If we really want to have a electric car, it will be impossible to charge it. However, if charging ports are easily available, it will make more sense for people to buy electric cars. Here is a close up of the charging point.<\/p>\n

If our government thinks that this will involve high cost and maintenance, maybe they should start to promote this. Check out the electric bicycles. I saw tourists riding on them.<\/p>\n

It should be another good way to go green. Of course, to generate electricity, it will be another big headache for us. But I guess we have to start somewhere (or wait for a standardization of charging standard for electric cars). Don’t you think so?<\/p>\n
