The day has come (almost) that your Instagram feed will have advertisements on them. Instagram has just announced that they will be adding “beautiful” photos of selected brands in the feed in a couple of months.<\/p>\n

Good (or bad) news is that it will start with United States first. However, seeing so many social platforms in the past, it is just a matter of time that these ads will be included in the feed of users from other countries.<\/p>\n

This is actually not a surprise because, in my opinion, Instagram is just another business. They will need revenue to continue and innovate. What surprises me is that they actually took quite a while to start this. And they are even willing to listen to you. If you don’t like an ad, you can hide it and provide feedback why you don’t like.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also make sure you have control. If you see an ad you don\u2019t like, you\u2019ll be able to hide it and provide feedback about what didn\u2019t feel right. We\u2019re relying on your input to help us continually improve the Instagram experience.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
