This is my part 2 of OtterBox casing review. I actually quite like it. For example, the Power on\/off button is actually a IR transmitter\/receiver. \/><\/p>\n<p>Overall, there is always 3 point of contact between the casing and the belt clip.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Summary<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The OtterBox Defender Series casing for HTC One is very well made. It fits very nicely on the HTC One. The casing is also very detailed. Features of the HTC One are not covered by this casing.<\/p>\n<p>With the casing, you feel that the HTC One is very well protected. The grip is very solid and with the 2 layers of protection (the polycarbonate shell and the rubberized outer casing), you know that the casing will hold even if you drop it from height.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the unique features of the HTC One (front facing speakers, Infra-red, noise cancellation mic at the back), it also means that the casing has to be designed to cater for them.<\/p>\n<p>For example, because the speakers are on the front, it is not protected by the high strength screen protector. Another is Power On\/Off button. Because of its infra-red capability, it is also not covered like the volume button. On the back of the casing, the noise cancellation mic is exposed.<\/p>\n<p>Another point I noted is the screen. I love the bright screen on the HTC One. However, with the high strength screen protector, it makes it more reflective and thus in some situations, the content on the screen cannot be seen properly.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, I think this casing is not for anyone. If you need the extra strength in protection for your HTC One, this is for you.
