Last week, I attended McAfee LiveSafe (pronounced “Live” as in living) event. Here is my take on the event and the product. I have not tried LiveSafe yet but will give an overview of what you can get from it.<\/p>\n

The event started with Mr. Stephen Perchard, Vice President \u2013 Consumer & Mobile, Asia Pacific, McAfee welcoming us to the event and provided a brief introduction on what to expect.<\/p>\n

Next, Mr. Takashi Tokunaga, Regional Business Campaign Manager, Intel Asia Pacific, shared with us on how Intel and McAfee work together. He specifically mentioned 4 key points. They are: Acceleration, Better Protection, Persistence and Identity and Privacy.<\/p>\n

Following that, one of their key partners, Mr. Deepak Wagh, General Manager, Consumer & Small Businesses, Singapore, Dell, talked to us how McAfee LiveSafe product integrates into their Dell laptops and Ultrabooks.<\/p>\n

Of course, it is important to show us how McAfee LiveSafe works. We had Ms\u00a0Melanie Duca, Consumer Marketing Director, Asia Pacific, McAfee, guide us through in a “live” demo. During the demo, she showed us how important documents can be secured by McAfee’s mobile app.<\/p>\n

She went through with us the highest security on the mobile (Pin, Face, Voice). Here is a video on the voice recognition.<\/p>\n
