Press Release<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n To further enhance coverage and network performance<\/em><\/p>\n SINGAPORE, 27 May 2013 –<\/b> M1 Limited (M1) today announced the appointment of network vendor Huawei, to further expand and upgrade its existing 3G network, at the value of up to S$11 million.<\/p>\n The islandwide expansion of M1\u2019s existing 3G network operating on the 2100MHz spectrum band includes the rollout of additional base stations, and a nationwide optimisation programme of the 3G network, to improve call connectivity and customer experience.<\/p>\n M1\u2019s latest investments complement the recent investment to roll out a 3G radio network on the 900MHz spectrum band and modernise its core network.
