Singapore, March <\/b>21<\/b>, 2013 \u2013 <\/b>Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today launched the region\u2019s first Enterprise Experience Centre in Singapore to showcase its enterprise capabilities and demonstrate solutions across verticals including education, retail, hospitality and financial services. In addition to the launch, Samsung also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) to establish a Digital Convergence & Mobility Innovation Centre to develop and showcase advanced technologies and solutions in collaborative learning, retail solution innovation and smart device application development.<\/p>\n

Launch of Southeast Asia\u2019s first <\/i><\/b>Enterprise Experience Centre<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The Samsung Enterprise Experience Centre, spanning approximately 2,000 square feet, is a one-stop destination to showcase Samsung\u2019s capabilities and approach to enterprise solutions for customers. Some of the solutions showcased include tablets, monitors, PCs and commercial displays for the hospitality, travel, education and retail industries.<\/p>\n

Partnership with Nanyang Polytechnic <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

As part of Samsung\u2019s focus and commitment to the industry, an MOU with NYP was also signed at the launch. The Digital Convergence & Mobility Innovation Centre will enable students to research into collaborative learning and conceptualise a learning space where digital technologies could be integrated to enhance effectiveness of teaching and learning. Students will also develop and explore different innovative ways to enhance retail solutions to improve customers\u2019 experience and business outcomes. They will also have the opportunity to develop real-life application on smart devices, including Smart TVs and tablets, through trainings, workshops, seminars and industry attachments at Samsung.<\/p>\n

In addition, Samsung also launched the SAFE programme \u2013 Samsung For Enterprise. Samsung KNOX will be commercially available in selected Samsung GALAXY devices from the second quarter of 2013. Samsung SAFE will be made available to all partners beginning the second quarter of 2013.<\/p>\n
