This is yet another format battle on Blu-ray. Previously, Toshiba had tried to venture in the format war with HD DVD which ultimately failed. Now, China is doing something similar. It is creating its format call China Blue HD.<\/p>\n

Based on the video, it mentions that it is much cheaper than Blu-ray and has better quality.

\nIf this is true (on the price and quality), this may be as well a good battle. Imagine the rage on VCD when it first started (and still going strong), the pricing and ease of finding players to play the format is the key to success. Hopefully, if CBHD takes off, it will lower the cost of Blu-ray disc and also added another option to the consumers.<\/p>\n
