Sometimes upgrade can be no good. In this case, A Blackberry software update was sent to users by United Arab Emirates carrier Etisalat and it stated that it is an ‘upgrade… required for service enhancements.’ However, what the software did was it could allow outsiders to access private information on user’s phones.<\/p>\n

BlackBerry was quick to announce that they were not aware or in anyway related to this software upgrade. From the source, people who upgraded the software experiences excessive battery drain. I could only guess that it might be due to the software working underneath the OS gathering data.<\/p>\n
