SingTel today announces the first 4G service for tablets from 28th August. The two tablets that were highlighted are Asus Transformer Pad TF300TL and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 (LTE). Currently, there is only one service, Prestige 75. However, you have the option to choose different monthly plan depending on how much initial cost you want to pay for the tablet.<\/p>\n

Based on the plan, the data bundle is just 10GB. I am sure with a tablet, it will be hit quite easily. Luckily there is still a S$94 monthly cap.<\/p>\n

For those who are worried about the coverage, SingTel has mentioned in their Press Release that they are expanding their coverage and they are on track for island-wide coverage by early next year.<\/p>\n
