Nokia announces software enhancement on its Lumia range of Windows Phones. They are the Lumia 900, Lumia 710 and Lumia 610. Sadly, Lumia 800 is missing from the list.<\/p>\n

Here are some information about the enhancements: –<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/strong>Lumia 900<\/strong>\u00a0version 2175.2101.8779.12201: Enhanced sensitivity for proximity sensor performance and improvement to your phone\u2019s screen colours in low light conditions<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/strong>Lumia 710<\/strong>\u00a0version 1600.3031.8779.12180: Internet sharing (Wi-Fi Hotspot) \u2014 Share your phone\u2019s internet connection over Wi-Fi with up to five other devices or computers and Flip to silence \u2014 Silence incoming calls by turning your phone face down.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/strong>Lumia 610<\/strong>\u00a0version 1066.0000.8779.12201: Enhanced sensitivity for proximity sensor performance and improved sound level for alarm tone during voice calls.<\/p>\n

So, if you own one of these handsets, be sure to check for the firmware upgrade notification, or use your Zune software to check. BTW, this is not the new Windows Phone 7.8<\/a> everyone is waiting for.<\/p>\n
