<\/p>\nI think that this is really cool. Now, you can perform a product search on Google Android OS phone with a barcode scanning app. You don’t need to key in anything to get the correct information. Just use your phone to scan the barcode and you will get the information of the product.<\/p>\n

What you need to do is to go to “Shopping” and there will be a “Scan Barcode” icon for you to scan the barcode of the product. If you do not have it, it will direct you to Android Market to download it.<\/p>\n
After installation, you will be available to see the screen below once you press on the “Scan Barcode” icon.<\/p>\n

For those in Singapore, you could actually use a local software, SG SavvyShopper (find it on the Android Market) to do a product search. It will link the results with Sheng Siong database.<\/p>\n
