Nubox sees High Demand for New iPads on Launch Day<\/h2>\n

\u00a0Singapore, March 16, 2012 \u2013<\/strong> The wait for the new iPad is over. Nubox, an arm of Newstead Technologies, today launched the new iPad at its eight Apple Premium Reseller stores \u2013 Nubox@112Katong, Nubox@Causeway Point, Nubox@Junction 8, Nubox@Jurong Point, Nubox@MarinaBay Link Mall, Nubox@nex Mall, Nubox@Raffles City and Nubox@Tampines.<\/p>\n

Eager customers braved the legendary queues at Nubox stores from 11 p.m. the day before the launch. Ivor Yu, a college student from Hong Kong, flew into Singapore on the eve of the launch to be the first in line at Nubox@Tampines. \u201cI have always been an Android user. This time, I am attracted to the features of the new iPad. I am really looking forward to try the retina display!\u201d said Ivor.<\/p>\n

Matthew Yeow, a software engineer from Kuala Lumper drove to Singapore with his girlfriend at 2 a.m. today and started the queue at Nubox\u2019s flagship store at Raffles City before 7am. \u201cIt\u2019s my girlfriend\u2019s birthday today and I wanted to get her the new iPad. We will be using it to catch up on movies and emails,\u201d said Matthew.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe anticipated the queues at Nubox stores islandwide for the new iPad,\u201d said Evelyn Chua, Chief Marketing Officer, Newstead Technologies. \u201cWe continue to see strong demand for Apple products in Singapore. Consumers who did not manage to get their new iPad today can visit the Nubox Facebook page for updates.\u201d<\/p>\n
