Finally, M1 has officially posted on their online M1 Shop non-camera iPhone. It ranges from 8GB iPhone 4 to 64GB iPhone 4s. As many in Singapore already know, this will be like a wishlist for Military personnel in Singapore.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, I blogged about non-camera iPhone from Singapore Telcos<\/a> and also about M1 who put up the information but pulled it down later.<\/p>\n

Now it is official. M1 has put up non-camera iPhone on their online M1 Shop. This non-camera iPhone model is NOT from Apple, based on the report.<\/p>\n

It seems that the removal service (front and rear camera) is from third party and the process is irreversible. And it costs more to have a non-camera iPhone than a standard one (S$49 more). The service is endorsed by Mindef and a certification will be provided to identify it.<\/p>\n

If you need warranty, it will be issued by the third party vendor at additional S$321 that will follow Apple’s warranty terms. The phones are sold with contract. There is no option for non-contract non-camera iPhone.<\/p>\n

As for the other two Telcos (Starhub, SingTel), they have yet to follow but are already in talk with Mindef (according to the report)<\/p>\n
