Exclusive K-Pop access comes to MSN<\/h2>\n

MSN portals across Asia Pacific Region will host entertainment channels offering fans a chance to win a trip to Osaka, Japan for the Jan. 2012 Golden Disk Awards<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0Singapore, December 22, 2011<\/strong> \u2013 Fans of K-Pop or \u2018Hallyu\u2019, will now be able to visit their local MSN websites across Asia to get the latest updates on their favourite popstars and songs, as the portals unveil dedicated channels in Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines.<\/p>\n

From Monday, December 19th<\/sup> 2011, fans will get full access to in-depth features, backstage photo galleries and even videos of the top events and happenings in the world of Hallyu.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s not all \u2013 as the official partner of the prestigious Golden Disk Awards 2012<\/strong> in the region, MSN portals will provide exclusive access to behind-the-scenes content. Since their debut in 1986, the Golden Disk awards have held sway as Korea\u2019s most authoritative music awards, even being described as \u201cthe Grammies of Korea\u201d.\u00a0 This year\u2019s awards will be a glitzy affair on 11th<\/sup> and 12th<\/sup> January 2012, at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka Japan.<\/p>\n

2012 will be the second straight year that the \u201cMSN International Award\u201d will be presented to the artist with the No.1 song of the past year \u2013 the winner will be selected based on tallying judges\u2019 assessment and fans\u2019 votes.\u00a0 This is the only award that allows the fans\u2019 voices to be heard directly, and the nominees include \u2018Mr. Simple\u2019 by Super Junior<\/em>, \u2018The Boys\u2019 by Girls Generation<\/em>, <\/em>\u2018Fiction\u2019 by Beast<\/em> and \u2018Lonely\u2019 by 2NE1<\/em>. Fans can log onto their local MSN portals to cast their votes until December 26th<\/sup>, 2011.<\/p>\n
