Finally, we know who is the person behind Siri UK (male) voice. It is non other than Jon Briggs. The best part is that he got to know it only when he saw a demo of the iPhone 4s on TV.<\/p>\n

He says that he recorded his voice five or six years ago for a text-to-speech services. He had to read 5,000 sentences over 3 weeks in a way they are flat and even. He recorded this for Scansoft which was later merged with Nuance and Apple has been working with Nuance on Siri. BTW, the UK voice is called Daniel on iPhone 4s.<\/p>\n
