I guess when there is competition amongst the competitors, the consumers will always benefit. In this case, there is a rumor stating that Microsoft will give unlimited storage for photos and office documents uploaded to Skydrive.<\/p>\n

Skydrive has been around for some time. Not many people that I know of use it or even knows it exist. Recently, it had a revamp<\/a> on the UI (which is much needed). I am beginning to use it again.<\/p>\n

Currently, each user is give 25GB of free storage. If the rumor is true, it will be a competitor to Picasa who recently updated that uploading of photos via Google+ will be unlimited<\/a>. What do you think? Are there other competitors?<\/p>\n

BTW, here is what you might get from Microsoft Skydrive.<\/p>\n

Unlimited storage space for all Office documents
\nUnlimited storage space for all photos
\n25 GB of free storage for everything else<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No date and no expectation of when it will happen. I certainly hope that it will be soon.
