Nowadays, DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras are so common. However, I am not sure if everyone knows how to use it. Here is a very good simulator for you to try out various settings. Once done, take a snapshot and see the results.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>As compare to film SLR, the learning curve for DSLR is definitely steep. You can just snap a shot and see the results. With this simulator, it is even easier.<\/p>\n

You can adjust the lighting condition (outdoor, indoor) and also the modes used on most DSLRs (Shuttter Priority, Aperture Priority, Manual).<\/p>\n

You can change the distance of the subject and the focal length of the lens.<\/p>\n

It is a great tools for you to mingle with the settings and more fun than to set your camera to Auto. Here is a simple shot that I took with just changing the aperture settings to simulate the Depth of Field (DOF)<\/p>\n

Form the 2 pictures, you can see that the background is more blurry on the first picture than on the second one. It is due to the effect of the aperture size.<\/p>\n

You can adjust the distance and focal length too to get similar effect. The simulator is a great tool to let you see the relationship of your camera position and settings.<\/p>\n
