If you are a motorist in Australia, and you are frustrated by roadrage or anything related to the road, there is help. The new website, setup by National Roads and Motorists Association (NRMA), allows motorist to voice their view. To upload the video, they will need to locate the portable booth. Press Release: Motoring Advocacy Goes Digital<\/h1>\n

NRMA Motoring & Services has combined almost 90 years of experience as an advocacy group for motorists with digital technology to launch www.roadtube.com.au<\/a><\/p>\n

NRMA launched the website as part of its broader Get NSW Moving Again<\/em> campaign to encourage frustrated motorists to upload videos and blog about the transport and roads issues that annoy them the most and the solutions they want to see to fix the problems.<\/p>\n

The website uses the YouTube platform and allows the public to upload their own videos with webcam, hand-held cameras or mobile phones.<\/p>\n

NRMA Head of Digital, Stephan Gervois, said RoadTube was NRMA\u2019s latest venture into the digital space following the launch of the on-line Way2Go<\/em><\/a> travel magazine.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoadTube opens up a new world for the NRMA in its efforts as an advocacy group for motorists,\u201d Mr Gervois said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe US Presidential election showed that the opportunities to build a grassroots campaign via digital communications are limitless. The NRMA has more than two million members and with RoadTube we can mobilise our membership base in a new way.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoadTube can be used as a platform for all major advocacy campaigns run by the NRMA.\u201d<\/p>\n

To take RoadTube on the road the NRMA has constructed three portable mock \u201ctoll booths\u201d, with the public invited to sit in the booth and upload their own videos directly onto the site. The booths are currently being taken on tour across NSW at major transport hubs and shopping centres.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe NRMA has taken huge leaps in communicating to our members through digital technology and its working \u2013 our toll booths will also ensure everyone can have their say,\u201d Mr Gervois said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited about RoadTube because it combines NRMA\u2019s generations-long experience as a voice for motorists with the latest communication tools in a way that is easy and fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
