10,000 units sold in Singapore one week after retail launch<\/em><\/p>\n

Singapore, 4 July 2011<\/strong> \u2013 <\/strong>Sales of Samsung GALAXY S II continue to exceed all expectations, with the announcement by Samsung Electronics that it has achieved global sales of 3 million units today. In Singapore, Samsung broke all sales records for its mobile phones, selling 10,000 units of its flagship Android\u2122 smartphone within a week of its retail launch, which is about one GALAXY S II being sold per minute.<\/p>\n
