As you may already know, Nokia invited us for a short session on Nokia X7 and E6 recently. The main stars on that evening were of course the Nokia X7 and E6, and not forgetting, Symbian Anna. The event was held at Room with a View.<\/p>\n

It was a cozy session. Most of all have met with one another, the Nokia team and the Nokia PR team. We had Mohamad Sukkar talking to us on Symbian Anna.<\/p>\n

Here are some information on Symbian Anna that I thought you might be interested.<\/p>\n

Do note that devices with Symbian ^3 will get Symbian Anna update in Q3 2011 (OTA according to the Nokia team). Some differences in the new Symbian Anna.<\/p>\n

I guess one important aspect that Nokia wants to bring across is that their OS is friendly in the business world. Currently, I guess the other competitors are trying very hard to ensure that their devices are “welcome” to the corporate. So far, I guess BlackBerry, Nokia and Microsoft are successful and Apple (after many enhancements) may be able to “get into” the corporate (already seen a few companies changing to iPhone). As for Android, I have serious doubt based on my own experience (Outlook Sync).<\/p>\n
