Did you see it coming? I think news of Apple making a netbook is not new. However, this time, the news leak seems a little more genuine with “internal” sources who refused to be named. And they are saying (yes, two informer) that it may be as early as second half of\u00a0 this year!<\/p>\n

According to Dow Jones Newswires, 2 source close to the situation mentioned that Apple is making netbook that may have a 9.7-inch or 10-inch screen. Specifications and functions were not revealed.<\/p>\n

From the report,<\/p>\n

Apple is working with Taiwan’s Wintek Corp. (2384.TW), a contract manufacturer of small and medium displays, to make the touch-screen displays and Quanta Computer Inc. (2382.TW), the world’s largest notebook maker by revenue, to assemble the new netbooks, the second person said.<\/p>\n

So, is this true? If yes, I think it will not be cheap and I am curious which OS they would use.<\/p>\n
