Today, I read about an article on Digital Life<\/a> on how changing the DNS of your computer will speed up the loading speed in your browser. I thought I would like to share it here. If you know something about IP addresses, you would know that we would normally set it to\u00a0 “obtain an IP automatically”. By setting it to auto, it means that it will perform a DNS lookup to correctly to the website.<\/p>\n

Actually, there is nothing wrong with it. However, complex websites\u00a0 might need multiple DNS lookup. Because of this,\u00a0 it may slow down<\/em> the loading of the website.<\/p>\n

So, if you use a Public DNS server, with their infrastructure, you might be able to load the website faster. For this case, I chose Google’s DNS server because it provides a clear explanation on how it can be faster and have more security.<\/p>\n
