If you have been following those robots, androids, humanoids or geminoids, you will know that they are getting more and more realistic. Now, put them together with the real counterparts and you have a geminoid summit.<\/p>\n

Watch how they interact. At this moment, the most realistic one is Geminoid DK, modeled after Associate Professor Henrik Scharfe. He is the latest in the collection. The first Geminoid started with HI-1, which was created in 2005 by Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro of ATR and the Tokyo-based firm, Kokoro. The second one is the lady geminoid, Geminoid F.<\/p>\n

At this moment, they are still not 100% realistic and the movement is a little robotic. I guess in 20 years time, we might have a hard time to differentiate the real human\u00a0 and a Geminoid.<\/p>\n
