Finally, I have done my first Windows Phone 7 update. No, it is NOT the “Cut and Paste” update that everyone is waiting for. It is just a minor update (according to Microsoft) that will enhance the update that will be coming in March 2011.<\/p>\n

According to Microsoft Windows Phone blog, this update will enhance the updating experience for future update, without giving much details.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s in this update?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This first update for Windows Phone is designed to improve the software update process itself. So while it might not sound exciting, it\u2019s still important because it\u2019s paving the way for all future goodie-filled updates to your phone, such as copy and paste or improved Marketplace search.<\/p>\n

Here is my first hand experience on the update. BTW, it does take some time to update the phone (20 minutes or less). You will need your PC with Zune software installed. There is NO OTA (Over The Air) update for this.<\/p>\n
