Nokia has made the announcement that they will be pulling the plug on free music bundled with mobile phones\u00a0 in 27 countries. Only a handful of countries will still have this service.<\/p>\n

BTW, this service is called Comes with Music but has been changed to Ovi Music Unlimited<\/a>. I guess it is not popular due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) software.<\/p>\n

Anyway, this service still continues in some countries. An excerpt from Reuters,<\/p>\n

Nokia will continue to sell phones with 12-month subscription to free music downloads in China, India and Indonesia and with 6-month subscriptions in Brazil, Turkey and South Africa.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For those that still have the subscription, you can still enjoy the music until subscription ends. Nevertheless, Nokia still continues to offer DRM-free tracks through its music store in 38 countries.<\/p>\n
