It seems that news are spreading news that Android Honeycomb (Android 3.0) may need minimum Dual Core Processor to operate properly. This might set back many people who had bought (or still buying) the first wave of Android Tablets (ie. Samsung Galaxy Tab, Huawei S7 and etc).

From Gizmodo,

According to PC World, the Korean electronics executive told them Honeycomb would target higher-end tablets initially, requiring that they run the Tegra 2 chipset (until more mobile devices implement the ARM Cortex A9, at least). And apparently, a 7-inch screen is the the smallest size this OS would be allowed on.

So, if you are thinking of buying an Android tablet, do wait a bit for some confirmation (maybe we can get it during the CES 2011).

[ad#boxlist]
(source)

I think I should call this bad news.
