Wigetworks has finally got the certification to operate the AirFish 8 in international maritime. I read this article on Straits Times. The AirFish 8 is like a hovercraft but can fly higher than it. It uses WIG (Wing-in-Ground Effect Technology) to propel the craft above water.<\/p>\n

It is powered by a V8 engine and has delta shape wings. Wigetworks started in 2004. It took them many years to get the AirFish 8 to be certified because it is so unique and difficult to classified.<\/p>\n
