Singapore, <\/strong>1 December 2010<\/strong> \u2013 <\/strong>Today Dell announced the impending launch of the much-awaited Dell Streak in Singapore, in partnership with StarHub.\u00a0 The Dell Streak is an all-in-one ultra-portable 5-inch Android\u2122-based Pocket Tablet designed to provide people the best web-browsing, digital entertainment, social connection, and personal navigation experience.<\/p>\n

Hitting a Sweet Spot<\/strong>
\n\u201cThe Dell Streak is designed for people who are constantly interacting online and want to expand their ability to access their digital lives on-the-go,\u201d said Varinderjit Singh, Managing Director, Dell Singapore and Malaysia.<\/p>\n

The spacious 5-inch screen is ideal for an optimized web-browsing experience with less squinting and pinching.\u00a0 Users can play games and watch HD videos on the brilliant and damage-resistant Gorilla\u00ae Glass screen, capture precious moments with the rear-facing 5MP auto-focus camera with dual LED flash or use the front-facing VGA webcam for video calls.<\/p>\n

On-the-go students, mobile professionals, and active families can also use the Dell Streak as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot that can be shared with up to eight devices.\u00a0 Additionally, the built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity will enable users an easy access for downloading and listening to music, updating social networking status in real-time, and staying connected to friends and family through e-mail, text, IM, and voice calls.\u00a0 Personal navigation is also enhanced with the integrated A-GPS and e-compass features for location-based applications.<\/p>\n
