While the actual launch is on the 21st October, I was given the go ahead with my review. So, let’s welcome LG Optimus 7, their first Windows Phone 7 device.<\/p>\n

The LG Optimus 7 has a 3.8-inch screen and 5 MegaPixel camera. Here is the specification.<\/p>\n

Now, lets take a close look at the device.<\/p>\n

BACK<\/span><\/h2>\n

The back cover is made of metal and quite heavy but sturdy.<\/p>\n

Camera<\/span><\/h2>\n

Lets take a close look at the camera lens area. It has a reflective piece for you to see yourself. And a single flash below the lens (if you take the pic vertically).<\/p>\n

Next, the sides.<\/p>\n

Side<\/span><\/h2>\n

Here is the volume rocker switch only.<\/p>\n

Notice that it has a camera button. It is the standard feature of a Windows Phone 7 device. The top part is the Micro USB port for data transfer and charging.<\/p>\n

You will need to remove the cover to access the port. Here is a look behind the cover.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You will need some getting used to, to remove the charging port cover.<\/p>\n

Top and Bottom<\/span><\/h2>\n

On the top, you can see the 3.5mm earphone jack and the power on button.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And on the bottom, there is only a microphone (the small little hole).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The speaker is at the top.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I think one of the most common key that will be used on the Optimus 7 is the center (Windows Logo) button and the back button.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Internal<\/span><\/h2>\n

To open the cover, you only need to depress a button at the back of the back cover and the cover will “pop” out. Below, you can see the back (with battery installed) and the back cover.<\/p>\n

It is very clean inside. Here is a pic when I take out the battery.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As you may already know, LG Optimus 7 has an internal 16GB of memory. Therefore, it does not come with any card slot.<\/p>\n

I did a video on the unboxing and first look. For the record, the box might not be exactly the same as the one sold in Singapore. It has a Vodafone logo. From my understanding, it was locally configured to the Telcos (Starhub for my case) as different Telcos might have different unique services.<\/p>\n
