HTC has released a new version of ROM for Touch Diamond. It is available for download at HTC website. Serial number is required to get the ROM update.<\/p>\n

Improved Functions and Fixes<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 1.<\/span><\/strong> When you launch the Camera while the system is working on other programs, the preview screen may become black.<\/span><\/p>\n 2.<\/span><\/strong> When playing a video, sometimes a portion of the video will be cut off a little bit.<\/span><\/p>\n 3.<\/span><\/strong> Fixes Audio playback problem with the speaker. Specific issues: sometimes the music will turn off and on after 10 minutes, or there is a buzzing sound or no sound at all.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>4<\/span><\/strong>. Fixes the problem of not being able to receive MMS when in standby mode.<\/span><\/p>\n 5<\/span><\/strong>. When launching music via the Music<\/strong> tab on TouchFLO 3D, the sound may intermittently turn off for a second and come back on.<\/span><\/p>\n Please take note of this information from HTC Website.<\/p>\n Warning!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n * This is a generic software update. Any additional software or settings provided by your mobile operator or company will be lost. If you require this customization, please contact your supplier first before upgrading.<\/span><\/p>\n * Please note that this upgrade will erase any data stored on the device. Once you proceed with the upgrade, the system can not be downgraded again. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Please back up your data first before upgrading your device. Before you run the ROM Upgrade Utility (RUU), make sure you check and do the following:<\/span><\/p>\n * The USB sync cable is connected to your device and PC. If your PC is running Windows XP\u00ae, ActiveSync\u00ae will run automatically to establish a connection. If your PC is running Windows Vista\u2122, then Windows Mobile Device Center will establish the connection between your device and PC.<\/span><\/p>\n * All running applications on the device have been closed.<\/span><\/p>\n * Make sure that the battery level of the device is at least 50%.
