Norton has come up with a free solution for people who accidentally installed malware or crimeware into their computers. It is called Norton Power Eraser and it is free.<\/p>\n

  5. You may get a prompt asking you to confirm that you want to run the file. Please confirm and continue with the download process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Because the Norton Power Eraser uses aggressive methods to detect these threats, there is a risk that it can select some legitimate programs for removal. You should use this tool very carefully, and only after you have exhausted other options.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    I will be running this program on some older computers that I think might be infected to see the results. In the meanwhile, you may want to give it a try.
