First of all, how did LG gather the information on what users’ perception for 3D sound. They did a survey over 4 countries and the above (a bit blur as I set the wrong settings on my camera).<\/p>\n Some thinks 3D sound is better than 5.1 channel. Some thought of it as in a Movie Theater. So, what is the big differences between home cinema and the real cinema? The sound of real cinema travels vertically while the home cinema travels horizontally.<\/p>\n So, with LG 3D sound home cinema, it tries to replicate the cinema effect (as shown below).<\/p>\n Here is another illustration of the vertical sound.<\/p>\n I have tried the demo at the LG booth during IFA 2010. Maybe the room at the booth is too noisy, I could not really hear the effect.
