Who has trouble inserting batteries to your devices in the dark and wish that you can just insert those batteries in whichever direction that you like. Now, Microsoft seems to have the technology to solve this issue. Introducing InstaLoad.<\/p>\n

The Press Release is pretty long. In short, Microsoft has developed a technology (contact points) to allow anyone to insert the batteries into devices without worrying on the polarity (plus or minus).<\/p>\n

Unlike existing electronic solutions designed to address battery-polarity installation, InstaLoad is a mechanical invention that does not drain battery power or require expensive electronic circuitry. InstaLoad battery contacts can be cost-effectively designed into most battery compartments, as it usually requires replacing existing battery contacts with the patented InstaLoad contact design. The technology is compatible with popular off-the-shelf batteries used in products such as flashlights, toys, battery chargers, lighting and most other battery-operated consumer electronic devices that use CR123, AA, AAA, C or D size batteries (disposable or rechargeable) or similar barrel-type battery form factors.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, that means that manufacturers of devices must use this InstaLoad technology into their devices first before we can benefit.<\/p>\n
