This is a piece of sad news. I have been chasing this Microsoft Courier <\/a>news from the day it was rumored on the Internet. I have shared with so many people on this new and exciting concept. Everyone agrees and wanted one. However, based on Engadget’s news, Microsoft Courier is OVER!<\/p>\n

I think this news is shocking to many. One of the reasons is because it seems to be a great product (from rendered video and etc) and it seems that it will happen anytime. However, Gizmodo, checked with Microsoft and this is their reply:<\/p>\n

At any given time, we’re looking at new ideas, investigating, testing, incubating them. It’s in our DNA to develop new form factors and natural user interfaces to foster productivity and creativity. The Courier project is an example of this type of effort. It will be evaluated for use in future offerings, but we have no plans to build such a device at this time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What a great way to kill a product. Maybe the launch of iPad has changed their direction in making Courier. Whatever it is, it is a sad news.<\/p>\n

We should make some “noise” so that Microsoft can continue this project. What do you think? Love to hear your comments.<\/p>\n
