Review: Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium Bundle with Quick Keys

If you use a pen tablet for your work a lot, this Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium bundle with Quick Keys module might be of interest to you.

I have done a video on the unboxing and demo of the Xencelabs Pen Tablet with the Quick Keys. Check it out below.

The review set bundle consists of:

  • 1 x Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium
  • 2 x pens (in a box set)
  • 1 x Quick Keys Module
  • Accessories: Cables for charging, Gloves, protective casing

Here is how the pen tablet medium looks like.

I love that it comes with 2 pens (1 slim and 1 thicker) and many nibs that you can replace for your needs.

This is the Quick Keys Module. You can program the keys based on your needs using the Xencelabs software that you need to install on the computer. It is very straightforward.

I extracted the explanation of the Quick Keys Module for your reference: –

The programmable physical dial scrolls through up to 40 shortcuts per application with specific functions like zoom, brush size, and layers, etc. You can also quickly switch between key groups within an application (like sketching, coloring, and editing) by keying the Quick Keys’s “Set” button. The Quick Keys’s OLED display makes it easy to remember which keys are assigned to which shortcut, and the programmable color ring indicates which function you’re currently using. The adjustable sleep timer ensures your Quick Keys will remain on while you work. The Quick Keys was designed for comfort which the wireless connection allows by giving the artist freedom to position the controller in four different orientations to best fit your preferences.

Left-handed or right-handed, wireless or wired, with 5 sets of 8 keys, that allows up to 40 programmable functions per application, the Quick Keys will optimize your workflow.

Summary

Overall, I love that the Pen Tablet is large for the ease of using the pen. I did not spend time on the Quick Keys module but with just a few basic functions. I can imagine if you configure the shortcuts to it, it will definitely boost your productivity. Pricing-wise, it is comparable to those in the market.
