Huawei today launches 6 flagship products during its APAC Summer Product launch. The products are HUAWEI nova 8i smartphone, HUAWEI MatePad series tablet, (MatePad Pro 12.6-inch, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8-inch and HUAWEI MatePad 11), HUAWEI Watch 3 series smartwatch, HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 and HUAWEI MateView and MateView GT monitors.

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6-inch
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro has a 12.6-inch screen with a large 10,800mAh battery. It is powered by a Kirin 9000E chip and has 8 built-in speakers. I love the HUAWEI M-Pencil. It is super sleek. BTW, the MatePad is powered by HarmonyOS, Huawei’s latest OS.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8-inch, MatePad 11
If you would like to have a smaller version of the MatePad Pro, the 10.8-inch will be a good fit. Or if you don’t need a Pro version, check out the MatePad 11 which has an 11-inch screen. Both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.
HUAWEI Watch 3 Series
The HUAWEI Watch 3 series consist of the HUAWEI Watch 3 Active, Classic, and Stainless Steel. BTW, it also has a HUAWEI Watch 3 Pro version which is more premium. In Watch 3, the rotating crown and skin temperature detection are two more interesting features I look forward to. As for eSIM, I believe the major telecom companies will be able to support it.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 4
The FreeBuds 4 looks a lot like the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 but better. It has better open-fit noise cancellation now and still in the very small form factor.
HUAWEI nova 8i
The HUAWEI nova 8i has 66W SuperCharge. It is powered by Snapdragon and has 4,300mAh of battery life.
HUAWEI MateView
This is an interesting monitor. The HUAWEI MateView is for general usage, and if you have a Huawei laptop, smartphone, and Huawei range of products, it will be a breeze to connect them together.
HUAWEI MateView GT
The HUAWEI MateView GT is for gamers. It has a high refresh rate (165Hz) and large curve screen. It has a clever built-in speaker and smart dual microphones.

Huawei Launches Six New Flagship products in APAC
A Better Work from Home Experience, Fitness and Health Management and Entertainment for Consumers
SINGAPORE, 6 July 2021 – Huawei Consumer Business Group held a summer launch event in the APAC region to introduce six new flagship products: HUAWEI nova 8i smartphone, HUAWEI MatePad series tablet, (MatePad Pro 12.6-inch, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8-inch and HUAWEI MatePad 11), HUAWEI Watch 3 series smartwatch, HUAWEI FreeBuds 4, a next-generation open-fit Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) wireless Bluetooth earbuds and two high-end monitors which are the HUAWEI MateView and MateView GT.
The HUAWEI MatePad series tablets and HUAWEI Watch 3 series smartwatches are Huawei’s first smart devices powered by HarmonyOS 2. With the distributed data management and task scheduling capabilities of HarmonyOS, the HUAWEI Watch 3 and HUAWEI MatePad Pro can be paired with other intelligent devices such as smartphones, PCs, monitors and more. This doubles productivity and creativity to provide a better work from home experience, fitness and health management and entertainment for consumers.

The HUAWEI MatePad series includes the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6-inch, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8-inch, and HUAWEI MatePad 11. Powered by HarmonyOS 2, the HUAWEI MatePad series can be paired with Huawei PCs and the HUAWEI MateView for multi-screen collaboration. In mirror mode, the tablet can become a drawing sketch pad and a monitor in Extend mode. It also supports cross-device file dragging and transferring to provide a more efficient and collaborative multi-device experience for users.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6 and HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8 are equipped with a gorgeous bezel-less screen with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, which is the highest ratio in the world. The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is Huawei’s first tablet to support a 120Hz screen refresh rate to bring a smoother visual experience for videos and games.
The HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) features a new platinum-coated pen nib for a natural pencil-like writing experience. The new Smart Magnetic Keyboard features a full-size design with 1.3mm key travel to offer a more comfortable typing experience. Additionally, the keyboard includes a magnetic cover, wireless charging and Bluetooth connectivity. Together, these products aim to give consumers a PC-like experience.
Designed for smart office scenarios, the HUAWEI MateView is a pro-grade standalone monitor featuring a 28.2-inch 3:2 panel that supports a high resolution of 3840 × 2560 for a premium viewing experience. In addition, HUAWEI MateView can be paired with smartphones, laptops, and tablets wirelessly.
Connect for better Fitness & Health Management
Huawei aims to deliver a new experience for proactive health management in the digital era. We are working with upstream and downstream app developers, medical device manufacturers, and professional medical institutions to build a hardware, app and research ecosystem in the fitness and health domain. We are also combining smart devices with health management services to provide consumers with 24/7 professional health services.
The HUAWEI WATCH 3 series support independent communication by allowing users to make phone calls and listen to music using the same phone number and data plan as their smartphones. Set to redefine traditional watches by exuding style and functionality, the watch 3 series feature a curved glass screen, 316L stainless steel case and comes with a brand-new 3D rotating crown that senses different levels of pressure and provides haptic feedback in response, making the watch comfortable to wear and easy to operate.
The WATCH 3 Series resembles a personal fitness and health management assistant that supports more than 100 workout modes. In addition to a broad range of healthcare monitoring functions, the watch can also monitor skin temperature using a high-precision temperature sensor. It also supports fall detection and SOS functions so users can supervise and manage their health data in real time.

HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 is the first open-fit earbuds in the industry. Built with the Adaptive Ear Matching (AEM) noise cancellation technology, the Freebuds 4 is designed to deliver upgraded noise cancellation performance. When noise cancellation is switched on, the earbuds automatically detect the user’s ear shape to determine the optimum noise cancellation algorithm. For higher sound quality, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 uses a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) composite diaphragm. Weighing only 4.1g per earbud, the FreeBuds 4 is designed for comfortable everyday wear.
Dual device connection is supported on HUAWEI FreeBuds 4. It also offers a 64MP high-resolution main camera and rear quad camera system for an elevated photography experience. Within just 38 minutes, users can enjoy its full battery life.
Coming soon to Singapore
Of all the products announced at the APAC Summer Product Launch event, customers can look forward to the following products arriving in Singapore soon which include the HUAWEI Freebuds 4, HUAWEI Watch 3 Series, HUAWEI MateView, HUAWEI Mateview GT, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8-inch and HUAWEI MatePad 11 from the MatePad Series.
