StarHub becomes Official Distributor of Disney+

I have been waiting for Disney+ since the day it was announced as Marvel is also there. Disney+ is finally reaching Singapore from 23rd February. StarHub becomes the official distributor of Disney+ in Singapore with StarHub’s TV, mobile and broadband offerings.

If you are a StarHub customer or want to be their future customers, head on there to register your interest at www.starhub.com/disneyplus to receive timely updates about Disney+ on StarHub.

The monthly subscription fee for Disney+ in Singapore is S$11.98 a month or S$119.98 a year based on the Disney+ official website.

StarHub has not revealed their pricing yet.

So, what does it mean to the consumer? You can still get Disney+ via the official website. However, if you are a StarHub customer, you can enjoy whatever perks that are bundled with the current plan if you sign up via StarHub.

Disney+ will feature content from brands like Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, National Geographic, Pixar, and Star. That is over 500 films and 15,000 episodes of content as of now.

StarHub to offer customers upsized entertainment with Disney+

Singapore, 7 January 2021 – Continuing the momentum to reimagine customers’ entertainment experience, StarHub today announced it has signed an exclusive agreement with The Walt Disney Company to become the official distributor of Disney+ in Singapore with StarHub’s TV, mobile and broadband offerings.

When Disney+ launches on 23 February 2021, StarHub’s TV, mobile and broadband customers will be among the first few in the world to enjoy all six Disney content brands of this much-awaited streaming service through their TVs or on-the-go over StarHub 5G – Singapore’s widest 5G network with over 70% population coverage.

Disney+ will be the eighth streaming platform fully integrated within StarHub TV+ for customers to get the most comprehensive entertainment fix easily, all in one place. They can enter the captivating world of Disney+, and according to their preference, switch between streaming apps and the extensive library of unique TV channels, be it on TVs or mobile devices.

Starting today, customers can register their interest at www.starhub.com/disneyplus to receive timely updates about Disney+ on StarHub. StarHub will make available more details about its Disney+ deals for existing and new customers closer to launch.

Featuring over 500 films and 15,000 episodes of content, Disney+ will offer customers the latest blockbuster releases, such as Hamilton, Mulan and Avengers: Endgame, as well as exclusive Disney+ Originals including the popular The Mandalorian. Customers can look forward to new programming, including Marvel Studios’ WandaVision and Pixar film Soul.
