The TraceTogether App is finally available on Huawei’s AppGallery. This is huge news for Huawei users as it is not officially available on AppGallery previously.
As you might or might not know, Singapore is moving towards Phase 3 in our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the criteria is the usage of the TraceTogether app or token.
Unfortunately, the TraceTogether app is not officially on the Huawei AppGallery (previously). For the tech-savvy, they may know how to download one. For the rest, they might have to rely on another phone (with GMS or iOS) or the TraceTogether token to move about. And not many will want to carry a token if they have the app.
Why is this so important?
Well, Singapore is making it (almost) compulsory to have the TraceTogether when you attend events or check-in to certain high traffic areas. Previously we can just use any QR code reader to scan the QR code to the establishment. Now, some areas might need the TraceTogether watermark on your check-in before you enter.
This TraceTogether app comes in a timely manner for Huawei users. Don’t you think so? Go and download it immediately.
Now, where is my SingPass app on Huawei AppGallery?
