LG Introduces LG Wing, A New Dual-Screen Category in Mobile Phone

LG has launched a new phone, LG Wing, that I can say that is a breath of fresh air amid the numerous dual-screen phones out there.

Before the launch, there are teases and rumors out there. Now that the dust has settled, let us look at what is LG Wing.

It is a dual-screen phone that looks like an ordinary slab phone until you swing it open. It has a 6.8-inch normal screen and a 3.9-inch secondary screen.

There is a pop-up 32 MPX front-facing camera. And on the back, you will get a triple lens setup – 64-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel “regular” ultrawide, and 12-megapixel “Gimbal Mode” Ultra-wide camera.

The Gimbal Mode is something interesting. Apparently, when it is swinged open, LG envisioned that the bottom screen will become a controller while the main screen will be cluttered-free to film your content.

Here are the specs if you are interested.

Since this is a brand new category of dual-screen, I think many of us are not familiar with how to use the screens. Check out this video that showcases Lew from Unbox Therapy sharing with you how you can use the unique swing design on your everyday activities.
